With the Jump Break feature on your blogger blog, you can display more blog post on your home page. i got a question on this, that is why i decided to write about it.

Probably you would have seen some blog with articles not fully displayed. Only the Post tittle and fews lines are on the display and the next thing you see is Read More. You will have to click on it, to read the full Article.

The fact remains that it is not compulsory for all bloggers, you may decide to use it and may also decide not to. But for the sake of those who are asking me how to do it, here is it.

1. Log in to your blogger dashboard with your google account details
2. sellect the Blog you wish to Use Jump Break on
3. Click on New Post

The Post Editor will appear, then go ahead to input the necessary information, your text, images and "Ngwongwo na Ngwongwo". When you are done with editing and ready to publish your blog post.

Decide on where to place the Read More link, place the Mouse Cursor at that point, then click on the Jump Break Icon


That's all, a grey bar will appear at the Jump Break Point. Publish your post and view your blog on a new tab. As easy as that.

By default all blogger blog should have a comment box enabled, but if you notice it's not showing up in your blog, it's a minor issue that can easily be fixed.

You don't have to be an expert to Do It Yourself, just follow these few steps and your comment box is on. This will enable your blog readers to interact with your blog.

1. Log on to your Blogger Account
2. Sellect the particular blog you wish to work on
3. Once you are on the blog's dashboard, click On Layout
4. On the Section written BLOG POSTS click on EDITH 5. TICK 5(Comments) < (tick the radio botton)
6. Click on SAVE, that's all.

How to fix it.
Just follow 1 to 4 of the steps above
then TICK Show Share Buttons and Save.
Make your Blog to be more interactive, add the "Reactions" Feature to your blog. The default input is "Interesing, Funny and Cool" you can customize it to suit you.

There are so many other things you can do there, the "LINK TO THIS POST" feature can also be activated there, label and so many others.

Even if you have no issue with your blog now, just try to be familiar with that section or your blog.

BACKLINK TO YOUR OWN BLOG

Many newbie Bloggers perceive this to be a big thing. I remember dropping a comment on one of them's blog and he was asking me how i did it.
This is very simple and anyone with the Basic Html Knowledge can do it. You don't need buy any book or pay any money to anyone to learn it.

Just add this < a href="http://www.naijablog.com "(destination of the link) then add your comment and close with < a / > (there should be no space)

Example: Nice post, you may want to < a href="http://www.naijablog.net "> register your business with Nigerian Business Billboard< / a > For Free.

Note: the Target Attribute (to open a link in a new tab or window) is not allowed in the comment box.

Next time you drop a comment, do not fail to add a link to it. It helps your pagerank. Especially when the post you are commenting on is relevant to your site content.

Other part of it , is the "rel ="nofollow" attribute, ideal for external content (for affiliate link and link to other site that are not yours). It is also important to display external content in a new Tab. The attribute for that is "target ="_blank", this will make the link open in a new tab.
